Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Shrigonda

In order to control the regulated sale system of agricultural produce, a single market committee was established for the entire two talukas of Shrigonda and Karjat vide notification No. A.P.M.C./S./4/Karjat of the Government of Maharashtra vide notification No. A.P.M.C./S./4/Karjat dated 13th August 1960 and the actual functioning started on 21st November 1966. Thereafter, it was divided as per notification No. A/S.K.T./D.I.V./Of 198 dated 12th September 1984 issued by the Hon'ble District Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Ahilyanagar.
